Anna Pitts is the Director of Grants and Stakeholder Relations at Elevate Greater Akron, the region’s collective economic development initiative. She leads stakeholder-informed funding and partnership strategies that align federal, state, philanthropic and private investment around shared regional priorities. Her work advances collaborative efforts in workforce opportunities, strengthening educational pathways, expanding polymer innovation, supporting entrepreneurship, and advancing place-based development across Greater Akron.

Anna holds a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from California State University of Northridge, where she graduated with distinction. She is also a recipient of the 2024 Diverse Communities Scholarship from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She lives in North Canton with her family and enjoys traveling, cooking, and yoga. She proudly serves on the boards of the Stark Library Foundation and the PLEXUS LGBT and Allied Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation.
