Camille Coughlin
As the Manager of Social Media & Digital Storytelling at the Greater Akron Chamber, Camille Coughlin helps connect the organization’s mission to the broader community through engaging digital content. A proud Akron native, Camille returned home in 2024 after living in Florida, North Carolina, and Cleveland, and is proud to be a part of an organization who is dedicated to building a stronger, more dynamic region for people to live, work, and play.
With a background in journalism and digital media, Camille brings curiosity, creativity, and a storyteller’s eye to everything she does. She especially enjoys shaping video, audio, and social content into compelling stories that highlight the people, ideas, and momentum driving Greater Akron forward. Before joining the Chamber, she helped launch Signal Cleveland’s nonprofit newsroom and was nominated for the Institute for Nonprofit News’ Nonprofit News Newcomer of the Year award.
Camille graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Mass Media Communication Studies and Journalism.
Outside of work, Camille enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, exploring Akron with her husband Joe, and doting on their Treeing Walker Coonhound, Ellie Mae. As Akron natives newly rediscovering the city as adults, they spend their winters at The Nightlight, playing pool and Darts at High St. Hop House, doing Hot Yoga at YogaSquared and going to Jazz shows at Blu, and the summers playing golf at Good Park, running in the MetroPark and visiting the Cuyahoga Valley Farmers Market. A former specialty barista of six years, Camille is also a dedicated coffee hobbyist whose drink of choice is single-origin cold brew.
