Anna Pitts is the Senior Manager of Grants and Stakeholder Relations at Elevate Greater Akron, the region’s collective economic development initiative. Anna joined Elevate for the unique opportunity to support racial equity, small businesses, and Akron’s growth as a global polymer capital. Inspired by people and place-based development, she enjoys supporting stakeholders in transformative projects, particularly through grant writing.

Anna holds a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from California State University of Northridge, where she graduated with distinction. She is also a recipient of the 2024 Diverse Communities Scholarship from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Outside of work, Anna lives in North Canton with her partner, son, dog, and two cats. She enjoys travel, cooking, yoga, reading, and serves on the boards of PLEXUS LGBT and Allied Chamber of Commerce, Stark Library Foundation, and Drawing Together, a Southern California arts and wellness nonprofit.
