Shannon Baughman is the Coordinator of Business Engagement for the Greater Akron Chamber. In this role, she helps connect the Chamber’s Polymer Industry Cluster, economic development, and membership teams to strengthen collaboration and support regional growth. With a background in workforce development, Shannon is passionate about helping businesses and people grow together and was drawn to the Chamber’s collaborative culture and community impact.

Inspired by people and the power of connection, Shannon thrives on bringing the right individuals together and turning ideas into action. She believes that meaningful relationships drive progress and create opportunities for businesses and communities to succeed. A lifelong learner, she has earned dual associate degrees in Business Management and Human Resources and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Business Administration.

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family and their German Shepherd, embracing adventure through hiking, kayaking, and time on the water.
