Iryna Holovchenko is the Manager of Finance for the Greater Akron Chamber, where she oversees the organization’s day-to-day financial operations. She was drawn to the opportunity to expand her expertise in finance while supporting the local business community. This role also marks her first experience in the nonprofit sector, adding a new and meaningful dimension to her professional journey.

Inspired by problem-solving, continuous learning, and professional growth, Iryna approaches financial management with curiosity and a global perspective shaped by her international experience. Her passion for accuracy and organization drives her work, and she values the Chamber’s collaborative environment.

Originally from Ukraine, Iryna is proud to have successfully transitioned her finance career to the U.S. while maintaining her dedication to excellence. Before entering the finance field, she was a professional athlete and member of the Ukrainian national track and field team, competing across Europe in the 400-meter hurdles. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband, their two children, and their rescue dog.
