Consumers National Bank Receives Second Consecutive SBA "Top Community Bank Lender Award"

Consumers National Bank has received the Top Community Bank Lender Award from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Cleveland District Office for the second consecutive time. The award recognizes the bank’s outstanding performance making SBA 7(a) and SBA Express loans during SBA fiscal year 2017, ranking first among community banks in the 28 northern Ohio counties served by the Cleveland SBA Office.
“Earning the SBA “Top Community Bank Lender Award” for the second year in a row reflects our continued commitment to our mission of providing the small business community with local access to capital. It also honors our lenders, credit, and loan processing staff who make our SBA lending program possible. I thank the SBA for acknowledging the bank’s efforts again,” said Ralph Lober, the Bank’s President and CEO.
“As small businesses provide 55% of all jobs and 66% of all net new jobs, supporting local manufacturers and entrepreneurs is critical to our regions’ economic success. Strengthening communities by lending to small businesses has been a cornerstone of the bank’s mission for over 50 years,” said Lober
Consumers National Bank has ten commercial lenders serving business clients from the bank’s 13 branches in Carroll, Columbiana, Jefferson and Stark counties, plus two loan production offices in Stow and Wooster. In addition to small business loans, the bank has a history of agriculture lending which supports the rural communities that make up a large part of its markets.
Consumers National Bank’s Senior Loan Officer Scott Dodds said, “As a community bank focused on small business lending in the markets we serve, we are pleased to once again receive this award.”
