Get Back Control of Your Business and Your Time with EOS

The Greater Akron Chamber’s Business Owners Council is a new resource at the Chamber focused on bringing together company owners, principals and key decision makers to learn from each other, share experiences and support mutual growth and success.
Our dialogue on November 7th will explore an approach to managing your growing business called the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).  Thousands of entrepreneurs have adopted EOS simple concepts and practical tools to drive productive growth and strengthen the capacity of their businesses.
Many owners have implemented the model either on their own or with a facilitator steeped in the approach and have found that it has transformed their business – putting them back in control of their time and their growth.

Led by successful serial entrepreneurs, Dan Rose and Mark Whitmore, this workshop will provide an overview of the concepts, key tools and approaches to getting started with this new way to control and grow your business.  You’ll leave the session with the tools and ability you need to get started with your leadership team on this approach to managing your operations. Seriously, this system can change your life as an owner!  You can read more about EOS HERE.

About the Presenters:

Dan Rose has created, operated, grown, and successfully exited four separate marketing technology companies.  Having created over 400 jobs in Ohio, Dan is an experienced Entrepreneur, Angel Investor and Board Member in the Interactive, Software and Database marketing fields.  He is currently an EOS Implementor, helping Executive Teams improve their operational execution.  He is also currently an adjunct faculty instructor in the Ohio I-Corps program at Ohio State University. As an active member of both North Coast angels and Alpine Capital, Dan is an investor, director, advisor, or mentor to several early stage and emerging growth companies across the state.

For nearly thirty years, Mark Whitmore has made his living building a handful of ventures, including in the trades and property management. Along the way, he created and shaped tools with other business owners that helped connect raising a family with leading a business. Now, through the Entrepreneurial Operating System, he is helping business leaders to confidently and effectively run their team.  Mark lives in Ravenna where he dotes on his grandson and enjoys hiking, camping, hunting and fishing.
